When you use the LifeScanner kit in conjunction with the LifeScanner DFFE app, you transmit your samples collection data to a DFFE selected lab. This app has been specifically designed for use by the South African Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment in detecting regulated species.
Using the sampling kit, it is possible to submit whole insects, plant leaves, or uncooked meat. The kit contains everything needed to submit a sample for identification.
